INGREDIENTS

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons JAGUNG BRAND chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and add the chicken pieces. Stir to coat the chicken and set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the onion, red bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet and stir-fry until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the chilli sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir to coat.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce is heated through and the chicken is coated.
  6. Serve the chicken stir-fry over cooked rice. Garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro if desired.
